ABOUT ÖLSTUGAN TULLEN
The first Ölstugan Tullen opened in 2010 on Andra Långgatan in Gothenburg. The name and the concept are inspired by the historic Swedish beer halls — welcoming, lively meeting places where food and drink bring people together.
Our history
Gothenburg's oldest beer hall, Tullen, closed in 1979 after 87 years in premises around Järntorget. In 2010 it was time for Ölstugan Tullen to be revived, now at Andra Långgatan 13, a stone's throw from the former premises by Järntorget.
Today you'll find us in ten locations in Gothenburg and three in Stockholm, as well as in Borås, Norrköping, Linköping, Gävle, Uppsala, Växjö, Örebro and Copenhagen.
We offer well-prepared and varied Swedish food at reasonable prices. For the thirsty, there is a wide selection of beer and drinks from all over Sweden.
About the Tullen Beer Hut
Ölstugan Tullen is about more than food and drink. It is a place where people meet, socialise and feel welcome just as they are. There is no dress code and no need for a special occasion – whether you come for a quick lunch, dinner with the family, after-work drinks with colleagues or an evening with friends, it should feel easy to sit down and enjoy yourself. We believe in classic Swedish comfort food cooked with care, generous portions and a relaxed atmosphere where the guest always comes first. With the food we serve beer from Swedish breweries – a tradition that has been part of Ölstugan Tullen since the very beginning and reflects our appreciation for Swedish flavours and craftsmanship. Our restaurants are meant to be living meeting places in their neighbourhoods, where both regulars and new guests feel at home from their very first visit. That is the feeling we want to create every day – good food, good company and a place to come back to.
